Day 27

We met up early to re-shoot the scenes that we thought were not good. CY shot hers first. Although there were quite a number of NGs, we managed to finished it within quite a short time. Next was James's turn. We found a new area to shoot his scene. It was a much more artistic shot than before. We double checked everything and went to render out the videos. It's going to take some time to edit everything. So we decided to stay back in school the whole day from today onwards till saturday. Hopefully we can get most of it done by then.

The final submission was changed to thursday. One more day to ensure that everything is done. I think we can finish everything on time.

Day 26

Today we did our own work separately. After discussing about what to do for the next few days yesterday, we got everything planned out. Changed some few things here and there, re-shooting some scenes tomorrow in the morning. One more week to go!! Hope that there won't be any problems. On the other hand, problems are inevitable, so i'm hoping that the problems won't be something too big to handle. This two months fly by so quickly. It already nearing the end and the holidays are coming!! I'm looking forward to see our final video!!

Saw some of my other friends' work. Starting to get even more stressed up. So much to do but so little time. Hopefully i can get pass these couple of weeks without any problems. Looking forward to shooting tomorrow!! JIA YOU EVERYONE!!

Day 25

Today was our Interim 2.
We were kiasu and had a powerpoint ready but we decided that we didn't need it and didn't use it in the end. We presented our video which was around 70%-80%. It receieve quite alot of feedbacks from amanda about some inconsistency and flaws of our video. After the presentation we knew that we had alot more work to do such as reshooting some scenes again due to the audio. indeed it was a hard lesson learnt.

Day 24

As we meet after Video fundamentals class in the morning, we intended to shoot C.Y.'s scene, we moved to the amphitheatre and discovered that the sun was too hot and the sunlight was directly above us, not wanting to waste any time further we decided to move to the school library instead. This was a useful improvision as we could get what we need , and we could get a clearer audio. We had a few NGs here and there as usual like the previous videos but we got the shots we wanted. Then we went to the 3D lab and worked on the videos in after effects, i managed to recall and discover new effects which were quite handy and helped to spiced up our video. overall we had all our shots done except for some of the other effects which could be done only in the green screen.

Day 23

It was suppose to be filming my scene today but it got postponed because i have a presentation. So we decided to film in school in front of a white wall. It's suppose to be our opening and closing shots. It was quite fun to do it because we had to do some crazy actions. We thought of some other actions on the spot and shot them too. It was fun playing with the spry cans although we didn't really spray the paint on the wall. HAHA!! We filmed some more bloopers before heading off to the lab to render the shots out.

Day 22

Today CY didn't have any lessons hence we meet up at the usual timing to shoot James's scene. At first, we wanted him to be at the stadium, but the sun was shinning to brightly and we decided to wait till the sun was not so bright anymore before we continue to shoot. In the meantime, I went to charge up the camera. We explored around the place and found out that we could film inside the sports hall. However, there was this uncle who was washing the floor and it disrupted our filming. So, we had no choice but to wait for him to finish cleaning. We made some short clips while waiting. In the end, we found another spot to shoot James's scene, it has all the primary colours in it! We shot the film till 4 plus. It was fun overall.

Day 21

Our group wanted to do filming today however, before we even met up, it started to rain!! Bad timing!! So we postponed the filming session till tomorrow!! Hopefully the weather is good. Kin and James did some of the editing of the video we took on saturday. I had to rush off to do my H&C. Since there will be no lessons tomorrow, I'll be spending more time on P1. This means that i have to finish my group presentation for H&C by tonight!! Good luck to me!! Hope my other team members are doing well too.
We will be asking permission to film in some other places rather than the amphitheater. Hope we could get excess to the place by tomorrow!!
